March 6, 2008 – 36 week appointment. Weight = 162.2lb. Our baby had no heartbeat. I was admitted to the hospital and induced, and I gave birth to our precious boy Devin, born still, at 6:58pm. Birth story: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Feb 22, 2008 – 34 week appointment. Weight = 160.4 lb, BP = 104/70, Fundal height = 32cm. Measuring only 2 weeks behind now, she said no one is concerned at all since the ultrasound was good. Talked about the GBS test that’s coming up.

Feb 8, 2008 – 32 week appointment. They’re asking for my birth plan, yikes. Weight = 157.2 lb, BP = 119/70, Fundal height = 28cm. I’m measuring 4 weeks behind, so I got an unexpected ultrasound. Baby is measuring just fine, estimated at 3lb 14oz, heart rate was 149bpm.

Jan 25, 2008 – [RNM] 30 week appointment. Another visit from the nutritionist, I’m gaining weight “perfectly.” But still no actual answer on the meds issue. Weight = 156.0 lb, BP = 110/60, Fundal height = 29cm.

Jan 11, 2007 – [RNM] [27w6d] 28 week appointment and 1-hour Glucose Tolerance Test. Got some questions answered about newborn procedures, but nothing much else of note other than the blood draws. Heartbeat is nice and strong, and I’m measuring perfectly. Weight = 153.2 lb, BP = 98/58, Fundal height = 28cm.

Dec 14, 2007 – [RNM] [23w6d] 24 week appointment with new Midwife group. Everything on track, but put on iron pills because of anemia, which I’ve apparently had since the start? Weight = 146lb, BP = 120/62, Fundal height = 22cm.

Nov 16, 2007 – [RNM] [19w6d] 20 week appointment with new Midwife group. The nutritionist was annoying and not helpful, but the Midwife was really sweet! HB = 150’s.

Nov 9, 2007 – [U/S] [18w6d] Level 2 Ultrasound! It’s a boy!! Baby is healthy, everything looks good, he was kicking and moving all over. HB = 150.

Oct 19, 2007 – [RNM] [15w6d] 16 week appointment with Midwife. Weight = 137lb, BP = 102/50, HB = 130’s! Risk of Downs and Trisomy-18 came back VERY low.

Oct 4, 2007 – [RNM] [13w5d] Meet & Greet with new Midwife practice. Sounds like I’ll be switching!

Sept 28, 2007 – [RNM] [12w6d] We were able to hear the heartbeat! HB = 140’s.

Sept 26, 2007 – [U/S] [12w4d] First trimester screening U/S. HB = 147 bpm, CRL = 6.07 cm. Looks like a real baby!! Moving around in there… OMG so amazing.

Sept 21, 2007 – [RNM] [11w6d] Second appointment with Midwife! Weight = 139lbs, BP = 100/58. Exam, pap, doppler but couldn’t find the heartbeat yet. Retroverted uterus.

Sept 7, 2007 – [RNM] [9w6d] First appointment with Midwife! Weight = 140lbs. BP = 100/62. Paperwork, bag of goodies, bloodwork.

Aug 27, 2007 – [U/S] [8w2d] Second ultrasound! HB = 178bpm, CRL = 2.19cm. Baby now has an overlarge head and leg and arm buds!

Aug 16, 2007 – [U/S] [6w5d] My very first pregnancy ultrasound!! HB = 140bpm, CRL = 1.08cm. Cute little blob.

July 30, 2007 – [Blood] [16dpr] Second beta. HCG = 658!

July 28, 2007 – [Blood] [14dpr] First beta. HCG = 195!

July 17, 2007 – [IVF] [3dpr] One embryo transferred.

July 14, 2007 – [IVF] Egg retrieval.
