Heartbreak and Worries
I’ve been a little out of the loop lately, and for that I beg forgiveness.
I just found out Sara found out her baby had no heartbeat…. miscarried at 8w4d. I just want to cry. Why does this happen to good people? Please go give her hugs, if you haven’t already.
I am, quite honestly, terrified about my appointment tomorrow. My morning sickness has been missing the past few days, and suddenly I’m just absolutely terrified. I really really hope they give me an U/S or check for heartbeat via doppler or something. I need to know everything’s still okay in there or I’m going to freak out.

one suggestion in regards to the car. get a carfax. you need to know if it has been in an accident, major problems, etc. tell the dealership that you want one. if that one doesn’t work out then there are other hyundai’s out there. also be sure to run a nada (nada.com) on it to make sure that you are getting a fair price for it.
also, in regards to getting a doppler tomorrow. my doc could not hear a h/b at like 11 weeks with one of those. i started to freak! he did a quick sono and all was well. so, if she tries to hear it and can’t then do not panic. it does not mean that something is wrong.
i dreamed several times that i lost the baby. one time i dreamed very vividly that i had a miscarriage. i felt the cramps and there was blood in my dream. i also woke up holding my belly. i was so upset for days. i could not wait to get back to the doctor for a check up. alas, the worrying about our little ones has only just begun!
can’t wait for an update tomorrow.
Leigh – Just wanted to say that I did indeed get a CarFax report, and it came out well! Seems to be a well-kept car, only two owners. Very nice. :)
Thanks for the reassurances.
great news then! i hope you can get the deal to go through then. we just bought a car about 4 weeks ago. we got a minivan. we feel so old but we love it! tons of room. our second car is a 1990 2door acura! LOL! so we needed something bigger.
Good luck with the u/s, babe!
Just sending huge hugs.
