Mom’s Past
Something interesting: today mom came out of her room with some papers and a BBT thermometer. I just blinked and hoped she hadn’t bought me one, because I already have one. Then she pointed at the papers. I took a peek and they were charts – her charts, from 1984. She said she was wrong, it hadn’t taken only 3 months to conceive Cory; they started in March, and she found out she was pregnant in September. Strangely, that makes me feel better.
It was pretty cool to see her charts, though. My mom saves anything… just like me. :)

I can see it now. In 20-some years, you’re going to be sitting down with your daughter: “And these were my charts when we were trying to conceive you… And these were your grandmother’s charts when she was trying to conceive your uncle…” ;)
Hehehehe, of course. My family saves everything. ;) My mom still has a box that contains, among other things, one paper plate, one napkin, and a couple cake ornaments from my baby shower!
