Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies

6 Weeks

September 29, 2009 — 9:59 am

How far along? 6 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 128.2 (-2.0)

Maternity clothes? Work pants and sweats, the rest no.

Stretch marks? No.

Sleep: Had a horrible night due to nausea and napping too much the day before. But as long as I’m tired I’m still sleeping really well.

Best moment this week: Confirming that there’s something in my uterus at the ultrasound!

Movement: nope

Food cravings/aversions: I find myself craving sweets a little bit – not chocolate, but like pastries and candies. Craving tuna, which of course I can only have once a week. Arg.

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: Being able to eat without puking.

What I am looking forward to: The nausea stopping!

Weekly Wisdom: It doesn’t make you a bad person to ask for what you need. Sometimes we just need some reassurance that everything is okay.

Milestones: Morning sickness kicking in for real.

Symptoms: Full, tingly breasts; throwing up, especially when I have an empty stomach; very sore legs; gas; bloating; tired.

What a neat idea on taking down notes week by week. I wish I had thought of that too. It will be nice to look back on these notes.

I’ve been craving seafood since…. since I started this cycle. Which is why I LOVED being on the north shore…. ate nothing but seafood every day. It was glorious. But I’m still craving it! Tuna, lobster, shrimp, chowder… mmmm….

  11. I LOVE this new weekly format you’re doing. So fun to read!
But I do have a question – would you mind posting your weight change from the previous week AND a total change from week 4? If you don’t mind? I’d kinda like to see your changes as they happen and overall, if that doesn’t make me an obnoxious stalker. :)

Erica – Sure. LOL I have all the info saved in my spreadsheet, it’s no extra work to post it here!
