While I wait…
Any other IVFers who tested before their beta, when did you get your first positive?
Last time it was 13dpr. I got a negative on 11dpr and didn’t test on 12dpr.
I am totally hating my body right now for being a late tester.
From hopeful TTC, through infertility, IVF and the resulting pregnancy, this became a journal through grief and trying again after the loss of our first son, Devin, at 36 weeks. After multiple more IVF cycles we got pregnant with our second child, a little girl born healthy and alive in May of 2010. Our third child, a most unexpected surprise baby girl, was just born in June 2012!
The earliest I received a positive was 13dpr. And it was VERY light.

I never tested with an HPT before the the Betas when we did IVF/FET. However, I totally mised that your first BFP with Devin was 13dpr. I also find it encouraging that another of your commenters didn’t test positive until then either. Still holding out hope and sending lots of sticky vibes your way. :)
9 days post 5dt was my earliest (14 dpr). I might have had the faintest of faint lines on 13dpr if I really squinted. I’ve heard 5 day embies can implant up to 3 dpt. Maybe after all their stellar (no pun intended) work in the dish, a 5-day likes time to hang out and get comfoy?
I never did IVF but follow your blog daily, so I can’t add any information–but aren’t you just today 12 dpr? I don’t think testing negative today is discouraging–am I crazy?
After IVF #3, I got a faint positive (first EVER!) at 8dp5dt (cheapy dollar store). Dark positive on 9dp5dt (WalMart equate) for our twins. Never tested before 13dpo so I don’t know when it started showing +.
Definitely still hoping for you guys.
My first very very faint positive was 13 dpr. I think you are too early today. Pee sticks are evil.

Lisa, no, you’re not crazy. I am. But then, this whole process will make you psychotic.
And yes… pee sticks ARE evil. I still SWEAR the area where the second line is supposed to be is whiter than the rest of the test. I swear they taunt me.

Please hang in there. I never ever POAS before the morning of my scheduled beta because I knew that too early doesn’t mean jack. Plus I wanted to be prepared for “that phone call” when at work.
I really hope its a BFP for you. I remember the cycle when it was Janaki’s birthday in July and I had a BFN at the same time… it was breakdown city for me. I really, truly hope that this cycle has worked for you.

I think don’t pee on a stick and don’t read those stupid pregnancy books should be rules for all.
And I’m glad I’m not crazy. I would tell you to be patient but that would be ironic as I am the most impatient person alive.

second IVF 11 DPR
BUT i must qualify this with the fact that i tested daily and the HCG never totallly left my system from the trigger..so it was a combo of the trigger and the embryo making HCG because this last IVF that was BFN i tested positive UNTIL 13 DPR. ugh.
