Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies » Appointment made

From hopeful TTC, through infertility, IVF and the resulting pregnancy, this became a journal through grief and trying again after the loss of our first son, Devin, at 36 weeks. After multiple more IVF cycles we got pregnant with our second child, a little girl born healthy and alive in May of 2010. Our third child, a most unexpected surprise baby girl, was just born in June 2012!

Appointment made

Appointment with RE has been made. August 1… 3 weeks away. I’m hoping that gives us enough time to start next cycle with whatever it is we come up with.

I also chose to make the appointment with a different doctor than who handled our treatment last year. I have a lot of questions about our IVF cycles and why things went the way they did.

It feels good to at least have this on my calendar. I can start aiming for treatment instead of freaking out about this cycle.

yes, it’s nice to have tomorrow to look forward to. makes today liveable. somehow just scheduling the appointment adds a ray of hope.

Sometimes just having a “plan” makes it feel like things are moving forward again.
