Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies

Experiment… Failed

December 12, 2007 — 8:58 am

“So I did an experiment.”
“What’s that?”
“I didn’t take my unisom last night.”
“And how’s that working?”
“I think I’m going to puke.”
“Go take your unisom.”
“Going now.”

Of course, I didn’t actually make it to the table where my meds are before heaving up a whole bunch of stomach acid into the toilet. Golly gee, my favorite kind of pukings! (It’s really quite sad when you actually have different degrees of pukings.) Nasty shit.

Morning sickness: lots
Me: still 0

Nearly 24 weeks and still puking. Well I am one of the lucky ones, aren’t I.

    Ick. :(

I did an experiment yesterday myself – no zantac. Was quite possibly the worst idea I could have had. I guess staying the course right now is probably the best thing to do, eh?

    Serenity – Yeah… I guess if it’s working, don’t poke the monster. :/

Thanks so much for sharing your story with me. Congratulations on getting pregnant! What an amazing thing to happen with only transferring on embryo!! I’m so sorry about the vomiting, never fun, especially the bile kind.

I hope that you have a wonderful, healthy, and stress free pregnancy.

I hope you don’t mind, but I added you to my blog roll.
