Cribs
So NO ONE carries the crib I fell in love with anymore. How irritating. Here are two alternatives, that Den will probably hate. ;)

From hopeful TTC, through infertility, IVF and the resulting pregnancy, this became a journal through grief and trying again after the loss of our first son, Devin, at 36 weeks. After multiple more IVF cycles we got pregnant with our second child, a little girl born healthy and alive in May of 2010. Our third child, a most unexpected surprise baby girl, was just born in June 2012!
What were the cribs you liked before? It’s possible they are still out there, you may just have to go to the manufacturers site or something. If you want help looking, let me know!
It was the Ameriwood Lifetime Crib. I can’t find it anywhere. :( But, Den likes the two I posted. :D
I think the second one is the one I have. The only problem I have with it is that I’m short (5 feet) and when the mattress is on the lowest level (like it is now) it’s hard to lower the baby into it without kind of “dropping” him the last inch or so. Make sure you test it out in the store to see if you can reach!
for some reason i thought i read you were going to co sleep. maybe i read too many baby blogs , lol
No, we’re going to cosleep, but that’s only for the first 6 months or so…. then we’ll need a crib!
thats what i thought too. but after 6 months of sleeping close to you, they usually dont just take to a crib without a LOT of effort and / or crying. dont get me wrong, i had a crib too, the kiddo never slept in it overnight and was on a mattress on the floor in his room after a year of co sleeping. i dont know your feelings on cio, i didnt do it, cause it was easier for me to just keep cosleeping, but i will tell you that at two and a half my kid understood enough to go to bed by himself and stay there. (at times during the co sleeping journey i wondered if it would happen)
with the disclaimer all kids are very very different, of course :)
