Someone left that detail out…
I was just reading a little review of laparoscopy posted by someone on a forum. I’m reading along about the gas inserted, the scars, the recovery… the stitches. Stitches>?! Okay, someone forgot to mention that one to me!! (Excuse… I’m still very freaked out at the idea of a surgery at all, and stitches is NOT something I had taken into account. ACK ACK.)
Oh and by the way… I got annoyed and tested this evening. BFN. No surprize. But I’ve all but stopped spotting. Irritating. There needs to be a rule: AF either comes on time, or not at all. No exceptions.
Oh and I got a phone call from a nurse today. The RE does want to put me on BCP and I’ve decided to just do it. At this point… eh. Whatever. I forget which one it was though. I’m supposed to start it on the first day of my period… good thing it hadn’t started on time. I’ll pick them up tomorrow.

Heeeey… My messed up self has gotten back into synch with you – just in time for a trip to Kansas, I spotted for a day, then stopped. o.O
I agree though, on time or not at all, no faking you out allowed!
Hun, they will most likely use a new kind of stiches – it is a plastic goo that hardens and flexes with you. Mine was fine even with showering the day after. Go look at my pics from the morning after surgery – you’ll see it.
Oh oh, that would be good. Yay! I hope they do.
I haven’t had a lap yet but I know lots of people who have and their recovery time has been pretty short and sweet. The surgery scars hurt for like a day or so but after that it was fine. I remember one girl showing her day-after scars and I was surprised it wasn’t too gory. I think she had those flexible stitches too because I didn’t see the traditional ones.
Sorry about the BCP. At least it is for a good cause, right?
