Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies

Dance! Dance!

June 2, 2011 — 10:56 pm

I got it on video! Took me a few tries, but I finally caught her. She just started doing this a couple days ago, bouncing to music. Previously she’d do it holding on to furniture or a large toy, but this time she was in the middle of the room doing some kind of primitive toddler hop and twirl. Tee hee! I love it.

Oh my gosh!!!! I LOVE it! I have a few videos like that of William….even managed to catch him singing Bah Bah Black Sheep once (thank you iPhone 3g)….you will cherish this forever….thanks for sharing. Made my day!

  7. I LOVE how she just randomly grabs the cat (Merlin?) and he doesn’t mind at all! Sooooo cute.

She is adorable! And that is one SERIOUSLY laid back cat. Most cats I know would have to be on kitty Valium to stay that cool around a dancing, hair-yanking toddler.

Erica and Manda – Yes, that’s Merlin. And yes, he acts like he’s always doped up. “Duuuuddeee. Seriously pretty colors. You are awesome. I love you. I loooovveeee yooouuuu… *falls off couch*” I don’t know if he hit the ‘nip too hard when he was a kitten or what, but he’s been smacked, pulled on, climbed on, etc etc, and he never even bothers to move. The “dumb as a box of rocks” part, however, means that he does injure us from time to time as he flails about while falling off of random surfaces, which is my only concern about him around Kate!

The other cat puts up with a little bit but then gets up in a huff and leaves the room, as any normal self-respecting cat would.
