Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies

From hopeful TTC, through infertility, IVF and the resulting pregnancy, this became a journal through grief and trying again after the loss of our first son, Devin, at 36 weeks. After multiple more IVF cycles we got pregnant with our second child, a little girl born healthy and alive in May of 2010. Our third child, a most unexpected surprise baby girl, was just born in June 2012!

I don’t know why I torture myself, but I do.

I love the colors on this pnp, and it even has the higher level changing table! I also like the other pattern available, “Renaissance,” though I think I like “Moonstruck” more – and there’s a highchair available in it too! (Because, you know, things must match.) The stroller set is a Quattro Tour, though, which is more heavyweight than I want (I am looking for a LiteRider) – but I think it’s not as important that the stroller match. Let’s hope they’re still around by the time we get to buy one.

I must admit I have the guilty pleasure of baby shopping even though I currently have no baby on the way. That stuff is just so darn cute!

It totally is! Of course when we first started TTC I thought I was just ahead of the game, a small guilty pleasure but I’d be pregnant shortly so oh well. 9 months I’m thinking I was mighty presumptive. (But who thinks it will take more than 3 months?) But I still shop. Because it’s cute, and it gives me a taste of what I’ll have someday.
