Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies

Fruits and Food

November 18, 2005 — 9:58 am

Today I went grocery shopping – but not for normal groceries, I already did that. Instead this time I bought fruits, and veggies, and prenatal vitamins, and milk, and whole wheat bread. Lots of fruit, fresh fruit. I also bought some of those Ziplock twist-and-lock containers, but I’ll need to buy more. When I got home I took all the fruits out and cleaned them, peeled them (if necessary), cut them up, and put them into the containers. Now they’re all sitting in the fridge ready to eat. :)

that’s a good idea. i couldn’t get enough fresh fruit and veggies while I was pregnant. my body just craved them, and they are so good for you too.

the eating healthier thing will be harder for me – the vitamins I was able to do – the eating great – not so good

Hey I said I BOUGHT them – eating them’s another matter. :P I still crave chocolate and other junk really really bad, I’m just trying to cut back on that and up the fruit and veggies quotient.

Although, I really do love fruits. Strawberries and pears especially. I also got blueberries and bananas and grapes and apples, all of which I like a lot. I just don’t eat them because they tend to go bad so soon.

I was a complete freak the first month – but I am getting much more laid back now – eh – if it happens – it happens. Dan and I are planning a vacay in case it takes awhile. LOL – I figure why the hell not ?
