Another tummy picture. I’m healing up very nicely! (18 days past lap) You can’t really see in the photo, but my belly button is back to normal! :cheer:
And hey, the lighting even makes my tummy look flat. :D
Denis just totally cracked me up. He’s working this weekend and he just called me to check in (we tend to do that every day – seems silly, but I like to call him up when he’s at work just to say hi). He tells me he’s going to stop over somewhere on his way home, which is fine. Then he says, “I’m hearing bad things about those cloth diapers.” I’m immediately thinking like did something bad happen? I ask him what he heard.
So he says to me, “Do you realize you have to take them into the bathroom and scrape them out??” I tell him that yes, I was aware of that. “And what if we go out somewhere??” I tell him I’m not sure about that, I haven’t read that far ahead, but I’ll ask my friends who use cloth diapers.
He then goes on to say how the other guys were staring at him goggly-eyed over the whole issue. Den told them that he’s not going to argue with me if it’s what I really want to do. They said, “If you’re going to argue about anything, argue about this!!”
I just started laughing and laughing and called all the men big sissies. I asked him if he’d mentioned to them that I want to do a natural birth – I can only imagine the reaction to that one. (Though honestly I get more of a reaction to that one from the women – they think I’m crazy, absolutely crazy.)
It’s poop, baby poop! Run away, run away!! Good grief. LOL!
