Zeeke has found my soft spot: cuddles in the morning. I coaxed him up on the bed this morning - I took over Den’s side of the bed while he’s gone, so Zeeke took my spot. He fell asleep there! He’s so adorable while he’s asleep - and not in trouble, lol! He did smack me in the face a few times with his humongous paws, but that’s more clutzy than anything. It’s so sweet to give a good snuggle to your pupper.

I keep buying him new toys. Bad mommy! But he really seems to enjoy them. He has them scattered all over the house now. His new favorite is the kibble-dispensing ball. He quickly caught on to it, and now pushes it all over the house to get his food. He does take breaks, though, which is more than Oreo would do.

I took him to the park again yesterday. He was really good, and seems to enjoy running around. I’m still not sure about his harness, it doesn’t seem to fit properly. I might take it back to petco today and try to exchange it for a different one. He’s still not too interested in fetching more than a few throws, but he loves to run. I’m glad I get to let him run around a little bit, even if it is on-leash.

He’s doing really good in the car, too. He’s still really antsy to get out of the car when I unhook him, but we’re working on patience. But once I hook him up he just lays down and stays there for the whole trip. I’m really proud of him. No more chewing on the seatbelt, either.

I’m just really proud of him. It’s great to see him starting to settle down.
