Checking

I just sent an email off to the adoption agency. If we weren’t going away I would have waited another day or two before inquiring, but we are, so I’m kind of limited. I don’t want to seem pushy and annoying, but I also don’t want to appear like I don’t care. So I just mentioned that I’m anxious to hear back, and gave them the info about me having the phone all weekend and for them to call for any reason. I guess I’ll just have to try to put it out of my mind until we get back, though, unless I can find a wifi hotspot and sneak a check of my email… which I may do, I don’t know.

I want this puppy so bad I will cry soon. I look in her eyes and I just KNOW. That’s my dog. I have the application form almost filled out, but I still need two references.

Sarah and her sister Sally are 3 month old gorgeous collie or sheltie pups who were rescued from the kill shelter. They were both very scared in the shelter and are starting to come out of their shell and become happy, bouncing puppies! Sarah is a little more reserved than her sister, but they are very friendly and love attention. Both are wonderful with other dogs, kids and even cats. Since they are babies they will have to learn everything from scratch and will need basic obedience training to become the best dogs they can be! They weigh 10 pounds (of soft fluff) and the vet expectes them to be medium to large dogs. They are both healthy, spayed and UTD on their shots.

I’m scared to send in the application, though. Because most places, they don’t like it if you say you can’t adopt right away (and we can’t adopt until September 5, as we’re going away for the weekend). But that’s only a week away. I could wait until then to send in the app, but what if the puppies are gone by then??
