Before Den fell asleep we started talking about what we’d name the babies if we had twins. Obviously if it’s a boy and a girl we’d use the two names we’ve already picked out, Devin and Kailet. But what if we had two of the same?<\/p>\n
Den: “Well, I like that girl’s name you keep bringing up. What was it again?”
\nMe: “Katherine.”
\nDen: “Right. I like it. It sounds french.”
\nMe: “The only thing that worries me is that the two girls would have the same initial.”
\nDen: “No, you made me change Kailet to a K.”
\nMe: “Yes, exactly.”
\nDen: “So it would be K and a C, Kailet and Catherine. Unless… you don’t mean Katherine with a K do you?!”
\nMe: “Well, yeah. Not with a C, bleh! K!”
\nDen: “OMG, no!”
\n[argument about K or C ensues]
\nMe: *sigh* “I guess we’re going to have to come up with a different name.”
\nDen: “I remember why I hated this process so much.”<\/p>\n
A few minutes later…
\nMe: “What about Cody for a boy? I like Cody.”
\nDead silence.<\/p>\n
